Chapter 2 | Our Meeting
I thought wrong. The cubs were still young and friendly, jumping onto my aunties and cousins playing. I was relieved.
After our close encounter, sitting at a nearby table which there came across a handsome man. He had nice black hair that wasn't too long or short, just the right length that could pass as an actor or someone famous. His dark brown eyes that fits his clean, manly face. Speaking of which, he also had a nice body.
Surprisingly, this man walked towards us, probably noticing that we were staring at him. He stood next to me and spoke to my friend, Alice that was sitting across the table. "The marks on your face, I used to think it was nice..", he says with attitude. Alice had an eyebrow piercing and a small tattoo of a rose on the right side of her neck. "You on the other hand... no excuse", he leaned towards me, very close and kissed me on the lips. What? I stood there, shocked and speechless.
Other men that followed after also came up to me and teased me. Why me? I thought. Being sickened by their comments, I stood up and then they slapped my bottom. I can't believe these men. The strange man that we've encountered first also did the same. After, they told me that they were homosexuals. And so I thought to myself that it would be okay, right? I also assumed that the first man was part of them as well.
Even so, I couldn't let go what he did to me. It was unacceptable. I chased after him as he ran back in the direction he was coming from. Catching up to him, I grabbed his arm and asked him why he kissed me. "I thought guys like yourself were nice, kind spirited, caring and... loving! Yes, loving! But that is not I see in you. You don't think of how the other person is feeling or how they would feel! If so, then why!?", I blurted and regretted that I even spoke to him.
"You reminded me of this music video 'kiss' and so I simply did what I did", he answered, as simple as that and ran back.
This man answered my question in the most unreasonable answer possibly made. I still didn't feel closure and so I again ran after him. On the way, from a distance, he quickly spoke to a lady and continued on. I followed, ran up towards him, only to find out that that lady was a decoy. I lost him.
A dark feeling was held against my chest after losing him. I feared for what him and his friends were up to after seeing the look on their faces. They carried dark shadows around them which were perhaps of hatred.
